 You
may be asking yourself;
- Is it really necessary to expose young children to a second language at
an early age?
- Does it really matter?
- Will it really help my child become a
better learner?
More and more, research is saying "Yes!" to exposing young
children to a second (or third) language at an early age. You may ask
yourself, "But what if my child isn't speaking his/her first language
well?" You know your child best. Be sure to
follow the child's lead and make learning another language fun. Language
learning should never be forced or used as a
punishment. Be sure to
choose developmentally appropriate activities. Most importantly, be
creative and HAVE FUN!
