 2009/2010 Spanish Enrichment at Gateway
Dos Caminos Spanish Workshop is proud to offer Weekly Preschool Spanish Immersion Enrichment Classes to the AFTERNOON Pre-Kindergarten students attending Gateway School for Young Children in Richland. (Due to limited space we can only accept afternoon PreK students.) Spanish Enrichment Classes will be offered on TUESDAYS or THURSDAYS from 11:25 to 11:55 am mid-September through mid-May (other days may be scheduled if enough interest). For more information on the Gateway School Spanish Class schedule please see the links to the left. ~~~ Lessons include seasonally appropriate stories, songs, poems, games and other activities throughout the year. Students learn basics like colors, numbers, counting, and more through fun, interactive Spanish activities. 2009/2010 thematic focus for curriculum is Fairy Tales (Little Red Riding Hood, The 3 Little Pigs, etc.) The primary focus of the Preschool Spanish Enrichment classes is building oral language (listening & speaking) skills as a basis for future formal language study in Middle, High School and beyond! >> Click

ENROLLMENT
We ask that a minimum of 8 students per class register to be able to offer Spanish Enrichment on a weekly basis at Gateway School for Young Children. There is a maximum of 12 students per class to be able to provide quality teaching to participating students. A $20 Registration Fee (non-refundable) is due at time of registration to reserve your child's space in Spanish.
PAYMENT:
A $10 Early Payment Discount will be applied for Semester "paid in full" received on/before first day of classes each semester.
Payment is due the first class of each semester unless prior arrangements have been made.
Alternate payment arrangements will be considered, feel free to discuss this with Instructor.
A late fee of $5 will be added for payments received after a 2 week grace period for alternate/monthly payments.
This will be our fourth year offering the Spanish Enrichment class on location at Gateway School for Young Children. Past students have enjoyed learning new words, phrases and songs while attending Spanish class. Spanish Classes have proven to be a popular enrichment activity. Classes are filled "First Come, First Served". There will be a waiting list for students wishing to participate once classes fill in the event that the maximum class size is met.
