2008/2009 Spanish Enrichment at Gateway

Dos Caminos Spanish Workshop is proud to offer Weekly Preschool Spanish Enrichment Classes to the AFTERNOON Pre-Kindergarten students enrolled at Gateway School for Young Children in Richland.

2008/2009 Classes will be offered on TUESDAYS or THURSDAYS from 11:25 to 11:55 am September through May (other days may be scheduled if enough interest). For more information on the 2008/2009 School Year Spanish Class schedule please see the links in the left column.

Lessons include seasonally appropriate stories, songs, poems, games and other activities throughout the year. Students learn basics like colors, numbers, counting, and more through fun, interactive Spanish activities. Our anchor story books for the upcoming year (08/09) will be popular familiar stories by Eric Carle. The primary focus of the Preschool Spanish Enrichment classes is building oral language (listening) skills as a basis for future formal language study in Middle, High School and beyond!

Spanish classes begin one week after regular start (mid-Sept) and continue through early May

Sept - Jan ~15 week workshop $105 ^ or, $26.25/mo	Jan - May ~15 week workshop $105 ^ or, $26.25/mo

ENROLLMENT

We ask that a minimum of 8 students per class register to be able to offer Spanish Enrichment on a weekly basis at Gateway School for Young Children. There is a maximum of 12 students per class to be able to provide quality teaching to participating students. A $20 Registration Fee (non-refundable) is due at time of registration to reserve your child's space in Spanish.

PAYMENT*

A $10 Early Payment Discount will be applied for Semester "paid in full" received on/before first day of classes each semester.

Payment is due the first class of each semester unless prior arrangements have been made.

Alternate payment arrangements will be considered, feel free to discuss this with Instructor.

A late fee of $5 will be added for payments received after a 2 week grace period for alternate/monthly payments.

Make check payable to Instructor, Susan Nielsen. Gateway is not responsible for Spanish class fees.

This will be our third year offering the Spanish Enrichment class on location at Gateway School for Young Children. Past students have enjoyed learning new words, phrases and songs while attending Spanish class. Spanish Classes have proven to be a popular enrichment activity. Classes are filled "First Come, First Served". There will be a waiting list for students wishing to participate once classes fill. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot for 2008/2009!
