The "unofficial" version

In 3rd Grade I was privileged to participate in a Spanish culture class at my local elementary school. I remember learning names of colors in Spanish by eating Lifesavers candies - ¡delicioso!

It is this early experience with another language which I believe has influenced my own interest and success in second language learning.

I enjoy the challenge of developing curriculum and teaching Spanish at all different levels. I continue to be passionate about teaching - specifically helping families and children learn about Spanish language and cultures. Research consistently indicates the window of opportunity for exposing kids to a Second Language is before puberty. My goal is to continue to provide quality Spanish learning experiences for children of all ages.

Please check the web site often for updates and new links. And, be sure to use the "Links/enlaces" and "Store/mercado" pages for products ideas and links to interactive websites to encourage language learning at home.

Learning a second (or third) language early is easy for children. It's exciting to help children and parents learn about another language and culture while having FUN!

Feel free to contact me anytime!

¡Buen viaje!

Señora Susan
