 After School Workshop
By special arrangement with the Sacajewea Elementary PTO, this class is for students attending Sacajawea Elementary School in Richland. Tuition is $180 per Semester OR

Month! After School Spanish on location at Sacajawea Elementary is held TUESDAYS or THURSDAYS from 3:15 pm to 4:25 pm beginning mid-September. Meeting place TBA. Please download Registration Form using link above for more information. Maximum enrollment per class is 12 students, minimum, 8. After School Spanish Enrichment is considered a "FLEX" class or "Foreign Language Experience" in the Elementary School course. This means students will be learning predictable Spanish words and phrases in a controlled environment. Remember this is just the first step of many on a journey to learn another language. It takes most learners many years to master a second language, but our goal is to get your student off to a GREAT start! Constraints, or other factors. Updates08/09 - After school Spanish will now be held from 3:15 to 4:25 pm to allow for transition/snack/rest after school at all after school locations. 04/20/08 - Looking ahead to the 2008/2009 school year there will be some important changes to the After School Spanish Enrichment classes offered at Sacajawea. We will offer two semesters of 15 weeks each to allow for maximum learning and provide a more consistent learning environment; Fall from mid-Sept to mid-Jan and Winter from mid-Jan to mid-May. (Nearly all of the students who started Spanish in October this year continued through the whole school year.) Class will meet from 3:15 to 4:15 pm one day per week. Enrollment will be limited to 12 students per class. Based on experience this year, I have found 12 to be the "magic" number for the Spanish Enrichment classes. Next year we plan to expand to include 4th and 5th graders. Classes will be separated for K-2 and 3-5. Please bookmark this site for future updates.
